ELSIE LUPKY 1938-2004 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Elsie Lupky. Elsie suddenly past away January 9, 2004 at Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach with her loving husband by her side at the age of 65 years. Elsie was born May 5, 1938 to Mary & Bill Sandul in Vita Manitoba. At the time of her passing she lived in Woodridge, Manitoba. She will be sadly missed by her beloved husband Peter, and daughter Nancy (Ken) Bird; Granddaughter Darbie Lupky; Mother Mary Sandul; three sisters: Jeannie (Francis) Norgate, Ruth Yeryk, Debbie Sandul; two brothers: Bill (Pat) Sandul, Allan (Thomasine) Sandul. Sister-in-law Ann (Norm) Anderson; brother-in-laws: Alex (Renee) Lupky, Larry Lupky, Ron Scott and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by children: Gwen Lupky, Dwight Lupky; father Bill Sandul. As a wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Elsie touched many lives. Her family and friends were the joy of her life. Her pleasures in life were cooking, gardening and sewing, especially her raggedy-Ann and Andy dolls which have been given as gifts to friends and family from Montreal to Vancouver. All who knew Elsie will miss her deeply. Services will be held Tuesday, January 13, 2:00 pm at Loewen Funeral Chapel in Steinbach. Viewing will be held Monday, January 12, 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a devotional at 8:00 p.m. at Loewen Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Woodbridge Cemetery in Woodbridge, MB.
